GAME 2019 Annual Conference

Solving Georgia’s Coastal Mysteries through Science

November 8-10, 2019

Skidaway Island, Georgia

This year’s Georgia Association of Marine Education (GAME) conference will be held on November 8-10, 2019 on Skidaway Island in Savannah and hosted by the UGA Aquarium and Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant. GAME is a state chapter of the National Marine Educators Association (NMEA) and membership includes both formal and informal educators.

Participants at this annual event will be investigating clues as they explore, “Solving Georgia’s Coastal Mysteries through Science." The guest line-up is currently being planned, along with some other mysterious activities and field excursions throughout the weekend!

All the dorms are shared rooms, housing two people for each and four per suite with a conjoined bathroom. While bunked beds are present in each room, rooms will not be booked to capacity. The 2019 Georgia Association of Marine Education (GAME) Conference will take place at the University of Georgia's Marine Education Center and Aquarium (MECA) on the Skidaway Island Marine Science campus in Savannah. We will be hosted by Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant who manages MECA and the neighboring Shellfish Research Lab.

We invite people to submit proposals for our concurrent sessions Saturday morning of our conference.
